If we can get on top of defects at the start of the job, agree on the workmanship, clear up any misunderstandings and rethink work method statements, zero defects at practical completion is within the realms of possibility
I am a trained environmental scientist and that allows me to collect and analyse data to make recommendations on where process changes are flawed or need improvement.
If we can get one new person per day to take ownership of their work and strive to be defect free then we should be eventually out of a job by practical completion.
My training has given me the skill-base to recognize defects. I take great pride in seeing improved workmanship on projects and enabling previously defected work to be installed perfectly.
